Why did Promega UK Ltd decide to supply its products to customers in Ireland from 1 January 2024? 

Promega took this decision to enhance overall customer experience, establish a direct connection with our valued customers, and to gain greater control over product support, pricing and supply chain management.

Has there been any changes to the ordering process or customer service for Promega products? 

As of 1 January 2024, customers are required to place orders directly with Promega UK Ltd, as MyBio ceased to be our exclusive distributor in Ireland on 31 December 2023. Orders must be placed with Promega UK Ltd. Our customer support team is fully equipped to assist you throughout the ordering process and they will address any queries or concerns you may have.

Are there any changes in product availability or stock levels?

Since Promega UK Ltd always shipped product directly from our location in the UK to customers located in Ireland, there will be no change in product availability and stock levels. Promega always strives to minimise any potential stock shortages by holding sufficient stock at our UK location. 

How has shipping and delivery changed now that the company is selling directly to customers?

Since Promega UK Ltd always shipped product directly from our location in the UK to customers located in Ireland, there has effectively been no change to the shipping method. We have established efficient logistics and shipping partnerships to ensure timely and reliable delivery of your orders and improved tracking and communication throughout the shipping process.

How quickly will I receive products that I order from you and what will the delivery charge be? 

  • Products will typically be delivered within 2-4 working days from receipt of order for products that are in stock. 
  • Promega’s delivery charges for 2024 are £32.00 for Northern Ireland and €40.00 for Republic of Ireland, unless specific arrangements are in place.

How often will product selling prices change?

Standard catalogue product prices are fixed for a period of 12 months and will be reviewed annually on 1 January of each calendar year. Custom product selling prices will be quoted at the time of enquiry unless covered under an existing Supply Agreement.

How are product returns or exchanges handled under the new direct selling model?
