Promotional Terms and Conditions

On a regular basis, Promega is running special promotions and temporary discount offers (hereafter called "Promotions") which are activated by making use of promotional codes and/or by participating in a specified activity or event.

By participating in promotions of Promega, participants agree to be bound by these and promotional specific Terms and Conditions which are in conjunction with the Promega Nordic Terms and Conditions of Sales and Services:

• The promotion code is only valid within the promotional period of the campaign.
• In order to receive this promotion, the specific Promotion Code is required and MUST be mentioned ON the order. Missing promotion codes cannot be rewarded when the order is already processed.
• Participant in a promotion must be over 18 and a resident in one of the Nordic countries (Denmark, Estonia, Finland. Faroe Islands, Iceland, Norway, Sweden)
• Promotions may be restricted to specific sales channels or events (such as but not limited to: Promega Helix units, web orders, internet campaigns, (online) events, et cetera).
• Promotions are void where prohibited by law or institutional policies.
• Regarding the acceptance of premiums and incentives, participant has the sole responsibility to consult any applicable institutional policies of his organization before participating. When in doubt, the potential recipient must first consult the responsible person within the organization if and under which conditions premiums and incentives may be accepted.
• When participating in promotions with premiums or gifts, participants may ask Promega to donate the premium or gift (or at Promega's own discretion, the money value) to a charity fund. Promega maintains a list of charity funds for this purpose.
• Promega reserves the right to exclude any person or organization from participating in a promotion on reasonable grounds.
• Any discount value must be used up in one order; any remaining value will be void.
• Promotions cannot be combined with other promotions or special price agreements, unless specified otherwise. Per order a maximum of one promotional code can be redeemed.
• For promotions with a free gift or incentive, there is a maximum one gift or incentive per qualifying order.
• Unless otherwise noted, all prizes are subject to their manufacturer's warranty and / or terms and conditions.
• Items that are custom made or custom packaged for a client are excluded from promotions and / or campaigns.
• Promotions with discount in euros cannot be used for cash payment or payment of any outstanding invoices.
• Prizes are subject to availability. If a premium or incentive is no longer available, Promega will substitute any prize with another of equivalent or higher value.
• No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered.
• The prizes are not transferable. Gifts and discounts or any unused portion of a gift or discount, are not transferable or exchangeable.
• Duplicating unique promotional code or distributing a unique promotional code or other information is prohibited and makes the unique promotion code is invalid.
• Any change to an order, after the order has been accepted by Promega, makes the promotion code is invalid.
• Promega cannot be held responsible for informing you or informing you in time regarding available promotions and offers.
• Each individual promotion or offer can have additional promotion specific terms and conditions. These will be indicated to the promotion.
• The promotion or offer may be withdrawn or changed at any time in full or in part at the absolute discretion of Promega.
• If a sweepstake forms part of a promotion, the following additional rules apply:
  • At the close of the entry period / promotional period, one potential prize winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received.
  • If a winner will be selected at an event, the participant must have been attending the event to win.
  • Your odds of winning a sweepstakes depend on the number of eligible entries Promega receives.
  • Promega is entitled to set a minimum number of eligible entries per sweepstake.
• If you accept a prize or premium, you will be solely responsible for all applicable taxes related to accepting the prize.
• Promega reserves the right in its absolute discretion, including where it considers there to have been, and/or there is a suspicion of, any breach of these terms and conditions, any fraud or any abuse of the service, to terminate suspected illegitimate services.
• Employees of Promega, any advertising agency or web company connected with Promega or any such person's subsidiary or associated companies, agents or members of their families or households, are not eligible to participate in promotions. Promega reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants.
• If Promega decides to run a promotion or win campaign on Facebook, we do so at own own title. Please note that a Promega promotion on Facebook is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
• By participating in promotions, participants consent to the use of their name, screen-name, image, photographs, winning sums, given social media name and geographical location for advertising, promotional and news purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
• We value your privacy. On all promotions, the Promega privacy policy is applicable.
