The PureYield™ Plasmid Midiprep System is designed to isolate high-quality plasmid DNA for use in eukaryotic transfection and in vitro expression experiments. The system provides a rapid method for purification of 100–200µg of plasmid DNA from transformed E. coli cultures using a newly developed silica-membrane column. Plasmid DNA can be purified in less than 30 minutes, greatly reducing the time spent on purification compared to silica-resin or other membrane column methods.
