Isolating gDNA from Human Saliva Samples

Samples are placed into the ReliaPrep™ LV 32 HSM Instrument (Cat.# A1715) in 50ml conical tubes for processing. For automated processing, the liquid handler will perform processing steps, scaling the reagent additions for each sample based on the sample volumes detected. Samples with input volumes of 2ml of less are processed using a fixed protocol, while samples with input volumes greater than 2ml are scaled according to their volume.
